What is Aerobic Exercise

Aerobic exercise uses large muscle groups rhythmically and continuously and elevates the heartrate and breathing for a sustained period. Common examples include walking, jogging/running, swimming, rowing, stairclimbing, bicycling, cross-country skiing, step and dance exercise classes.

  • Pick’n’Mix Cardio
This is a true mixture of a class! It may incorporate step, hoola hoops, skipping, abdominal's etc. suitable for all fitness levels
  • Dance4me
Do you like dance? Come and join in with Julia Melissa’s promotional dance classes. This is a private class and the first 10 members go free.
  • Bums Abs and Thighs
(BAT). It’s all in the name. The class focuses on the areas we love to hate. Suitable for all levels of fitness.
  • Bodymax
Time to get in touch! A unique whole body workout, reduce fat, tone muscles. This class uses resistance training. This is not a choreographed class. All fitness levels welcome.
  • Basic Step
To all step lovers! This class is a good physically fun workout, very easy to follow. Beginners welcome
  • Triple Chi
1 hour class – If you like Pilates or Tai Chi you will love this class. A mind, body and spirit class, helping you become more aware of your body and how you feel. Triple Chi is a holistic group of exercises to music. You will increase flexibility whilst balancing and strengthening the whole body.
  • Kusala Kickboxing
A total workout and full contact sport suitable for men and women. This is a private class that allows up to 10 flex appeal members to enjoy at any one time.
  • Beginners Belly Dance
Temporary class) A class specially designed for beginners who would like to join the normal class when feeling confident.
  • Belly Dance
A chance to dress up ladies! What a great fun class this is. As well as dancing the hour away, have fun whilst toning the whole body especially the abdominal’s and back. Ladies only. All levels of fitness welcome.
  • Cardio Funk
Well this is a challenging class! Excellent choreographed moves and great fun. Not suitable for beginners.
  • Pilates
Pilates emphasizes the importance of strengthening the bodies core, abdominal and gluteal muscles. Concentration and control is more important that just quantity. The flowing movements encourage deep full breathing.
